Emergency Spanish Workshop a Success!
June 2009 – 82 participants
In June 2009, P-16 Coordinators, ESL Coordinator, and Lead Spanish Faculty member designed and coordinated an 'Emergency Spanish' workshop for area counselors, teachers, and staff. The workshop focused essential phrases to ease communication when interacting with Spanish-speaking students and parents. Participants received a Spanish phrasebook and audio CD.
Special thanks to Michelle Mitrik, Amanda McClure, Glenda Nolen, Tammy Wells, Linda Roberts, Cathy Woods, WSCC Printing Department, WSCC Public Information Department, and students for your hard work and efforts in providing this successful workshop!
